So as I showed you in a recent haul I bought one of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams in the shade Milan and after trying it out for a few weeks I thought I would do a quick review for you.
So spoiler alert I think these may be my new favourite lip product because they are not a traditional matte lip as they look matte to other people. However it just feels like a normal lipstick on the lips so they aren't drying at all compared to most matte lipsticks.
They have an amazing colour range everything from nudes to pink to dark shades. So there'e definitely something for everyone to try. I definitely want to go and try a darker shade as Milan is a medium pink. They have wonderful colour payoff without being streaky or patchy and are really comfortable on the lips.
They are extremely affordable at £5.50 so one to pick up when you're on a budget, unfortunately these aren't very long lasting so you will have to reapply every few hours which is the only downside to this product for me.
So that's it for my review of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next week.
☼ My Current Beauty Wish List ☼
I thought I'd share with you my current wish list, which is basically just a collection of things that I stare at on the computer that you always want to buy. So I'm going to share my list with you today.
1. Nyx Vinyl Liquid Line in Black (£5.50) - as you could probably see from my recent haul I have been trying out a few Nyx products and next up on my hit list is the Nyx Vinyl Liquid line in black. Which my friend recommended to me and I've heard so many good reviews about.
2. Beauty Blender (£16) - this is one I'm actually quite excited about as Boots have just started carrying the Beauty blender sponges which I'm beyond thrilled about. As I thought I would have had to waited until my trip to America but we can now get them here.
3. Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama (£7.99) - another product my friend recommended to me and I think it'll be my next mascara I purchase as I've just bought the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara.
4. L'oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation (£14.99) - I've seen so many rave reviews about this foundation lately and I definitely want to purchase it after I've finished my Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. As I don't want this to dry up before I get to use it.
5. Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Sin (£19) - I have been wanting this product for about a month now but it seems to be out of stock everywhere online and all the shops I go to. So I'm just going to patiently wait until it comes back into stock.
6. Nyx Butter Lipstick (£5.50) - After trying the Butter lip glosses I definitely want to try one of the lipsticks as they have so many shades that look so pretty.
7. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (£39) - I have been wanting this palette ever since it came out in America. I know it's been a while. So when it came across to the UK I was certain I was going to buy it. But I've just never come around to doing it because it is a pricey item. But I think I have waited long enough and I just need to buy it.
8. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (£19) - continuing on the Too Faced trend I also really want to try the Too Faced mascara as there's just so many rave reviews on this mascara that it makes it so irresistible.
9. Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sunkissed (£20) - So when I was trying to find the Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter I spotted this beauty and it's stuck with me ever since. It just felt so soft and creamy that I really did need it.
So that's it my personal beauty wish list I hope this inspired to add some stuff to your wish list or maybe even just start one of your own. But anyway I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next week.
☼ Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit Review ☼
So as I said in my previous post I'm going to do a Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit Review. I know there's plenty of these out there but I thought I'd share my experience with you. Unfortunately I don't have a personal experience with the shipping and the website due to this being a very kind birthday present. So this review is going to focus on the actual product.
The lasting power of this is impeccable I wore this on a recent shopping trip I even ate lunch and went for a drink and this lip product had not budged. The smell of the liquid lipstick is so gorgeous slightly makes me want to eat my lips. They are so thin so they don't feel too sticky on your lips yet so the highly pigmented one swipe fills in all your lips. My only problem with the liquid lipstick is it does settle into the fine lines in your lips so I'd definitely make sure you apply plenty of lip balm before you apply this
The liner is also a perfect formula glides on so easily and really helps to make sure your have a perfect outline as we all know liquid lipsticks can get a bit messy if not put with care. Not only do they pair perfectly with the liquid lipstick but these are just the perfect amount of pigmentation that you can wear them alone for a more subtle look.
Overall I really do love the Lip Kits and would definitely recommend you check them out (if you can ever catch a restock). Hope you enjoyed my review and I'll see you next week.
☼ Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter Review ☼
As promised in a haul quite a while ago today I'm here with a review of the Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter. Mine is in the gold shade but you can also buy a rose shade. These cost £8.50 which I personally think is quite steep for what it is.
So this is a lovely cream highlighter, it isn't very intense so it's perfect for a subtle highlight. The cream does require a little bit of attention as it doesn't blend very well our foundation so you've definitely got to work with it. It isn't an intense highlight so great for school or work when you want to look glowy but not caked in makeup. I wears quite well as it was still visible when I came home after shopping
So overall I don't really recommend this product unless you want a really subtle highlighter, but how I will be personally be using it under a powder highlight so it will be more intense. So that's it for this weeks review and I'll see you next week.
