♥ Barry M Gelly Polishes Review ♥

If you have watched my nail polish collection over on my youtube channel you would know that I am obsessed with nails and I thought I would share some of my favourites with you. And one of my favourites has to be Barry M Gelly Polishes

From Left to Right: Prickly Pear, Rose Hip, Dragon Fruit, Pink Punch, Sugar Apple, Green berry, Blue Grape and Papaya

These were one of the first nail polishes I bought for myself I bought Sugar Apple and Pink Punch around May time and ever since I have been obsessed with painting my nails. As far as the formula goes, they wear at least 3 to 4 days before minor chipping, so they do last quite a while. They have a lovely shine to them in the light once dry and definitely don't need a top coat. My only problem is the first coat has to be completely dry before applying the next coat and they take forever to dry so you do have to be careful with them for a few hours. However the colour range is amazing, Barry M is one of my favourite brands overall for Nail Polishes and Lip glosses. However it's not extremely expensive, I darker ones are very pigmented and most only need one coat but I give the paler shades two coats just to be on the safe side. Overall I would recommend you checking the Barry M stand out at your local Superdrug or Boots.

♥ Top 5 Favourite Autumn/Winter Lip Colours ♥

I'm here today to talk about my Top 5 favourite Autumn/Winter Lip Colours, they are mostly drugstore. But there is one cheeky MAC product in the mix. So I hope you enjoy.

I thought I would kick things off with my only products which is not from the drugstore. This is the MAC lipglass from the Archie's Girls collection called Mall Madness. I actually purchased this item from CCO and it was my first ever MAC product. I have to say I know some people rave about these lip glosses I do think they are a little sticky and my hair always stick to them :( so if you really want a MAC product and you have £15 to spend I would go for a lipstick. But I will forgive it, because it is such a pretty colour and it have tiny particles of glitter which is hardly noticeable but makes a beautiful difference. And can we just talk about the packaging and smell for a second. BEAUTIFUL. So I would definitely recommend it if you can find it as I know it was a limited edition collection.

One that goes well with Mall Madness by Mac is Avon's Colour Trend Kiss n Go Lipsticks in Amethyst. This colour does have a Metallic finish but nothing to noticeable. I love the formulation of these lipstick as they are incredibly creamy, they are a little drying but not if you put on a little bit of lip balm before you apply the lipstick. The packaging is little unstable especially the cap but nothing to worry about too much. I actually posted a picture on Instagram about a year ago of these two lip products (My Instagram). Go check my Instagram out and follow me if you want to.

One I purchased more recently is the Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Pink Orchid on the recommendation of Miss Budget Beauty as she did a video on a few of the line (Check it out here). I agree with her they are not the best pigmentation however they are amazing for £1.99. They have no horrible smell like a lot of cheap lipsticks. The formula is lovely the only thing I am a little unsure about is the shape of the lipstick as the almond shaped makes it a little tricky it apply and as Khila mentioned in her video the packaging isn't the best and I'm really scared of snapping the lipstick. But apart form that I definitely want to check out more form the range.

Another one of the cheaper brands that I love is Collection, this the only lipstick I have form them as it was gifted to me. But after pulling all the lipsticks for this particular blog post, I think I am going to go to boots and pick some more up and I do love them, but I've just completely forgot about them and been caught up with all my summer shades. I would say this shade is just a little bit pinker, brighter and lighter than the Avon lipstick in Amethyst. So they are similar but not so similar that you can't have them both. Also the Natural Collection lipstick is similar in colour now I am looking at them side to side, but the Collection lipstick is a lot more pigmented so if you like more pigmented go for the collection. But if your a one for the sheer lips go for the Natural Collection one.

And one completely different from the rest is Fashionista lipstick in Raspberry. This is about how dark I will go for Autumn/Winter, I know how boring that may seem but thats just how far I feel comfortable in. I think this brand is actually now discontinued. Because I got these on sale and they ended up being about £1.99 when they were previously £7.99 so I thought I would grab a few and this is definitely my favourite out  of the bunch. Just to warn you, if you do buy these of a website the colour is a lot different of the cap than the actual lipstick on some of them. But overall these are a really nice formula and last well on the lips and if your hands on them I would definitely suggest you grab some.

Hope you enjoyed my favourites and it inspired you to pick up a new lip product for Autumn or Winter. See you soon xx

♥ Makeup Revolution Iconic 2 Palette ♥

I recently went into to local Superdrug and notice a new stand called Makeup Revolution. I'd heard about it here and there from different youtubers, but I'd never tried anything before so I thought I would give them a go. So I picked up the iconic 2 palette, I know there has been rumors that it is a Naked 2 palette dupe. However I don't own any of the Naked palettes (yet) so I can not make a judgement on that one. But what I can say is the quality is amazing for a for pounds palette very comparable to my MAC eyeshadows. There is 12 eyeshadows in the palette and they are all creamy, blend able and highly pigmented. I have heard that this is supposed to be the new MUA on the block and I have to say I think Makeup Revolution has topped them. And can we just talk about he packaging for a moment, no way does it look like I paid for pounds for this it just looks stunning and not like something form the drugstore. So I would definatly consider picking this one up especially for only four pounds. Even though I might not be a Naked 2 palette dupe, it's still definatly a beautiful neutrals palette.

♥ A Recent Collective Haul ♥

Recently I seem to have ended up with a lot of products that I have been buying so I thought a would do a haul. So I've got some bits from Lush, Ikea, Boots and lots of different random places.

So course we all love Zoe Sugg. so I thought I would go along to my local Superdrug and support her product launch, so my friend Katie and I went crazy when we spotted them in Superdrug (probably highly embarrassing ourselves). I went for the eyes makeup bag and the fizz bar, but I can assure you that I will be going back for the rest of the line. The makeup is really high quality and doesn't get scratch easily and fabric is so silky inside. And as for the fizz bar the scent is heavenly and as it fizzes away it leaves the bath so silky, I am wanting to try and soak opera and the fizz bar together. So don't worry a review will be coming your way. (Get them here)

Speaking of supporting youtube I course I had to buy The Pointless Book, I'm currently loving it my friend and I was on holiday during the october half-term. And we were playing phone bingo and MASH, we had a wonderful time and I can't wait to carry on doing some more pages of The Pointless Book. (Get it here)

So we all know my love of Lush I have so I went into the store a couple of days ago and pick up a few of the Christmas items. I pick up the butterbear which I have already reviewed (here). I love this bath bomb which is basically a Christmas version of butterball which is one of my favourite bath bombs in the range. (Get it here)

Also I bought a small wedge of the Yog Nog for reviewing later this month this smells delicious and is so silky smooth on the skin. So look out for a review on this wonderful soap. (Get it here)

Lately I've been having a few nasty break outs so as well as using lots of skincare to kill them I thought I would try the Collection concealer as everyone raves about it. And I have to agree with the hype, it's in no way heavy yet it's really high coverage. Definatly one to try. (Get it here)

Recently I had a trip to Ikea with one of my really good friends Claire (her Instagram) and of course played with The Pointless Book on the way up to Nottingham. So we checked out a lot of there homeware decor as we are both obsessed even though we both still live at home. We saw this cake stand as we were in the show room and both instantly thought I need that. So us being us ran around the entire marketplace looking for it. So I put Lush products on the bottom and a couple of my favourite candles on the top. (Get it here)

Next I bought this little mini tray, as we all know I love candles and I have been know to leave marks on furniture as I just burn them straight on the counter. So for the past few months I have been burning them on a Lush catalogue, which was fine for the time being. But when I saw this in ikea I thought it would be perfect and it was only a couple of pounds. (Get it here)

Speaking of candles I bought these ones. I bought the smaller versions on different trip to ikea. And I was planning on purchasing those ones again, however apparently the Nottingham store doesn't sell them so I ended up with he bigger ones which are just as good. They smell gorgeous and leave you with a beautiful pot to use after burning. (Get it here

And finally I got these jars form ikea and I'm to sure why because I have nothing to put in them so if you have any suggestions. But we all know my unhealthy obsession with jars that couldn't leave them behind. Now I just have to figure out what to put in them. (Get it here
