♥ Kringle Candle Review ♥

I hauled this candle a while a go from Kringle Candle and I finally burnt though it so I thought I would review it for you guys. This is the Daylight Candle size which cost £2.50 which I think is an excellent price as they burn for 12 hours. I think they burn for a little longer than 12 hours looking back on it. The scent throw is great I made the whole of my upstairs in my house. The description from Mick on the website of the scent is (The essence of approaching summer. We combined lavish floral notes and sweet fruit accords with a just-right counterpoint of sandalwood and musk to create this masterwork.) The online shop is where most people will buy from, however there is a shop opened in The Lanes of Meadowhall is your near there. This is where I got my candle from, there are a lot of scents and sizes to chose from in the range and I would suggest even trying one of the Daylight candles as they are only £2.50.

♥ What I got for my Birthday ♥

Since as it was my birthday on Monday I thought I would share what I was given.
My parents gave me some money for my birthday but also gave me a few presents to open up so I got a models own mini nail polish set. The colours from left to right are: Pink Veneer, Naked Glow, Red Lustre and Purple Glare. Then a Yankee Candle votive set with scents Summer Scoop, Pink Sands, Pink Grapefruit, Pink Dragon Fruit and Pink Sands.
My Grandma also gave me some money and a few presents to open. I love this sign she gave me and I think I'm going to use these mini glass milk bottles for some pens when I'm revising.
My amazing friends Claire and Nicole bought me the Naked palette which I have been wanting for a year now and they so kindly got it for me for my birthday. They also bought me a Topshop lipstick in the shade Brighton Rock.
My other lovely friend Katie got me a No7 lipgloss set and a Benefit Posiebalm and Posietint set which is great because she knows how much I love makeup. She also bought me two of the Tsum Tsum's from the disney shop which I was loving a bit too much in the disney store when we went to Meadowhall last week.
My Auntie, Uncle and Cousins gave me some money for my birthday but they also gave me this really nice nail polish set from Marks and Spencer's. The shade names from right to left are: Plum, Lilac, Lemon Sorbet, Turquoise, Candy, Bluebell and Shocking Pink.

Thank you to everyone you gave me a present, birthday card and birthday wishes.

♥ Top Eyeshadows Palettes ♥

Today I going to be sharing with you my favourite eyeshadow palette. They are mostly drugstore and one is high end. So lets get into it.
Firstly is the Kiko Eye Clics System with the Infinity Eyeshadow these are the shades 243, 244, 213, 218. I love the freedom with these system and the shadows are so pigmented and creamy, sometimes I do get a little bit of fallout because they are so creamy. But apart form that these are great.
I love the Makeup Revolution dupes for the Urban Decay Naked palettes as they are only £4 each and I would the shadow quality is similar to my Naked Basics. Some of the shades are better applied with your fingers as the pigmentation comes through better.
I was given this for Christmas by a family friend its from Seventeen its just called the Seventeen Eye Palette. I do really like this as I the colours are really nice however if your looking for pigmentation I'd go with the Makeup Revolution as they are slightly more pigmented than the Seventeen ones. The Left bottom shade is really similar to MAC's Jest, so if you have been looking to purchase that but don't really want to spend £10 on one eyeshadow.
My only high-end palette in this blog post is the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I just love this as its all matte and just a beautiful neutral palette. I don't really have much to say about it as it just is a perfect everyday day palette. I do want to try the Naked Basics 2 as I sometimes do love a cool toned eye look.

So that's it, I hope this have might inspired you to go out and purchase a new palette.

♥ Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit ♥

Today we are talking about drugstore makeup starter kits. So basically what I think you need when your first starting out with makeup.
For base makeup I think when your just starting out with makeup you don't really need a full on foundation so I think a good heavy duty concealer is all you need. This particular one is the Collection concealer in the shade Fair 1.
I think you need some good makeup brushes, however they can be pretty pricey these are MAC 217 and 224 dupe brushes from eBay they cost 99p each and they are really good quality for the price.
A good mascara is definitely in need my current favourite is the Rimmel Accelerator Endless. I live this one as the brush is really good at getting to all your lashes. I have a full review on it here.

♥ Collective Haul ♥

So we are here again I have been spending money again and of course I'm going to show you what I bought.
So I went on a bit of a skincare kick lately and I thought take a trip to the simple section as their skincare is cheap and really good. I was in need of a new moisturiser so my current favourite is the Simple Kind to Skin replenishing rich moisturiser. You can see a full review in my skincare routine (here)
I love the Ganier Micellar Cleansing Water but sometimes its not to great at removing eye makeup so I thought I would give the Simple Kind to Eyes eye makeup remover.
I wanted to see how my skin reacted to a toner as I heard they are a vital part to any persons skincare routine and I thought the Simple one would be the best to try as it is cheap and good for sensitive skin.

I needed a new notebook to plan my blog ideas and I saw this really cute one in Primark at only £2 which I thought it was to cute to pass up.
I went to boots recently and the Revlon stand was on 3 for 2 and I had a lot of boots points on my card and thought it was time I spent them. I love these lip products and I bought one a while back and I really loved it so I thought while they were on 3 for 2 I would buy some more.
Quite a while a go I saw on Shaanxo's Instagram that the Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eyeshadow in the shade Rose Gold was a spot on dupe for Stila's Magnificent Metals foil finish eyeshadow in the shade Kitten.
I fell in love with this shade while I was in the TopShop store the other day its in the shade Plume and its a beautiful purple and blue chrome. You can see it in 'My Nails Of the Month' post.

♥ Desert Island Makeup Products ♥

I though I would share with you my Desert Island products (so basically my favourite products)
The only eye product I would take would definitely be my Rimmel Lash Accelerator just because it my current favourite mascara as it lengthens and seperates and its just my kind of formula
Of course my favourite concealer will be coming will me as it lasts all and doesn't crease on me. This is the lightest shade which is 1 Fair.
We gotta moisturize them lips and this is my all time favourite lip balm which is the Nivea Lip Butter in the flavour Raspberry Rose. I also really love The Body Shop's Argan Oil Lip solid lip balm.
My all time favourite lipstick is Mac's Chatterbox which is just a medium warm toned pink which is beautiful on most skin tones.
And finally there is my Tanya burr Lipgloss in the shade Picnic in the Park this is just my favourite formula of lip glosses that I have tried as they are not sticky in the slightest and they smell like sweets.

So that's what I would take to a desert island, however it is more like my favourite products as lets be real if I was of a desert island girl would not be putting on makeup as it would probably just slide of off my face.

♥ What's in My Travel Makeup Bag ♥

I thought I would do a bonus post seen as it was a Bank Holiday Monday. So seen as my "What's in my Makeup Bag" went down so well last, I thought I would show you what I pack In My Travel Makeup Bag when I went on holiday to Jamaica.
Firstly I did use the Ted Baker Makeup that I used when I went to London a few months ago.
The one and only base product I took on holiday was the collection 2000 concealer in the shade Fair.
You will notice that I took a lot of eye products but that is just the thing I take the most interest in. So I took two of the Makeup Revolution palette in the shades Iconic 1 and Iconic 3.
I also took Maybelline colour tattoo in the shade Pink Gold which I wanted to take to recreate my 'Current Favourite Eye Look' which you can read about here I also took my Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Cement. Then a new purchase the Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eyeshadow in the shade Rose Gold and I saw on Shannonxo's Instagram that it was a dupe for Stila's Kitten.
I took my current eye primer which is the Revlon Photoready Eye Primer. Then my favourite mascara combo of the minute which is the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless and Avon Supershock.
The brushes I took were: Two Makeup For You eye brushes, Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush and Deluxe Crease Brush. Then my MAC 217 and 224 dupe brushes from eBay.
I know this looks like a lot of lip products but I used all of them while I was on holiday they are MAC Chatterbox, Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in (top to bottom) Barcelona Nights, Parisian  Passion, Rio Rush and LA Exclusive.

So that's what I took in my Travel Makeup Bag to Jamaica. Hope you enjoyed reading.
