♥ My Holy Grail Mascaras ♥

Today I'm here with another installment of my "Holy Grail" series, so today I'm here to share my holy mascaras. I have five mascaras to share with you and some are old favourites but also they are some favourites that I have discovered more recently.
First up we have the Benefit They're Real mascara, which I know has been a lot of peoples favourite for a while. But I only first tried it in October and I fell in love with it, I love how black and defined it makes my lashes. My only problem is its a real pain to get iff because it is so long-wearing.
A really new favourite is the Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash as not only does it add a lot of volume and thickness. But because of the slim brush that defines the lashes so no matter how much you put on it doesn't look clumpy.
One mascara that you guys have heard a lot about is the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast mascara and I did review it here. I love this one because of how black it is when you apply it and I love the shape of the brush as its slightly curved so you can get all your lashes.
Another one that has definitely been a long time favourite in the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless as its so long-wearing and again I love the brush because the bristles are so fine that it grabs every lashes and it really defines the lashes.
The newest mascara I've tried is the Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes mascara and I love this one because of the deepness of the colour, it holds the curl so well. It never clumps my lashes and gives the, nice volume and length.

That's it for my Holy Grail mascaras I hope you enjoyed it and it gave you some inspiration if you're looking for a new mascara and I'll see you soon.

♥ Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review ♥

As mentioned in a post recently I really wanted to try the Beauty Blender but with the hefty price tag I thought I would try something a little cheaper before branching out to purchase a £16 sponge. So today I'm here to review the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

Firstly I wanted to say when blending out my foundation with this sponge it gives a gorgeous coverage and never had a cakey or streaky finish. I especially love the flat side as it blends so fast and smoothly in the larger areas of the faces, whereas the pointy side is perfect to concealer the under eye area or blemishes when more precision is required.

Secondly, I have never had a makeup tool that has washed as quite as well as this sponge does. A quick wash with a gentle shampoo (I personally like the Johnson's baby shampoo) and it's as good as new. This minimizes how many sponges you have to buy. Also a huge positive is the sponge looks better when its wet. Meaning you can use the sponge straight after you've washed it unlike many foundation brushes.

My only negative is the sponge is quite delicate for example when I accidentally trapped the corner of my sponge in my palette it did rip part of my sponge apart. So do try and be a bit more careful than me if you are to purchase this sponge, which I do definitely recommend.

That's it for my review of the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review. I hope you enjoyed and I will see you soon.

♥ Mac Face and Body Review ♥

I recently spoke about the Mac Face and Body Foundation in my Everyday makeup routine for college and I thought I would give you guys my opinion on it. So here we go.

Firstly I would say I don't like the pricing of this item because you can buy the 50ml version (which makes more sense then it doesn't go off) for £22. But then for another £7.50 you can get an extra 70ml and I really don't understand. So I went for the 120ml bottle just because I thought it would be better value.

With that rant out of the way lets get into the actual product a bit more, I love this product as its the light coverage for an everyday look however if you want a bit more coverage like me it is a very buildable foundation and I always find setting it with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder adds a bit more coverage for a perfect everyday look. Something that does put me off is it does have a bit of a weird smell but as soon as your done applying the foundation you can't smell it anymore so it doesn't bother you throughout the day. It has good staying power but I would recommend setting it with a powder as it is a very dewy foundation so if you get quite oily throughout the day this one might not be for you, if not a good powder will set it into place and it stays put all day.

It's such a lightweight foundation that it's so comfortable to wear as when it settle into the skin after application it isn't heaving in the slightest to be honest you wouldn't be able to tell that it was on. Which is definitely something I love about this foundation. I use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to apply this and they are a match made in heaven so I'd definitely recommend them both.

That's it for my review I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you soon.

♥ My Holy Grail Palettes ♥

I've been noticing that you've been loving my 5 Holy Grail posts, so I thought I'd bring you another post in the series. Therefore I'm here today with my 5 holy grail palettes, they are mostly neutral because I'm not a person for crazy eye looks but let's get into them.
Firstly is quite a recent purchase which is the Too Faced chocolate bar palette, this is a gorgeous palette as there's such a good range of neutral shades but then has shades like Candied Violet and Strawberry Bon Bon for the perfect pop of colour.
Next up is a long time favourite which is the original Naked palette I especially love the shades Sidecar, Sin and Half-Baked because they are so stunning. I just think this palette in so versatile as you can go from really neutral everyday look to a smokey eye without pulling other palettes in.
I don't know whether this one counts because it is a custom palette but I adore my Mac palette as I feel like I've created the perfect combination of colours with this palette and I really enjoy using it.

That's it for my Holy Grail Palettes I know there wasn't as many products in this post but I only have a few favourite palettes. So that's all for this post and I'll see you soon.

♥ Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Review ♥

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, mine is in the shade Ivory which is the lightest shade. That is a slight problem with this range is it doesn't have great colour range but if you can find a colour that suits you then it is an amazing concealer.

I feel like it's great for both under the eye and on spots because it's so long wearing that it barely fades during the day. Also it's so radiant so it's perfect to cover your under eye circles because it brightens the under eye. It is a very liquid based concealer (more so than the Collection lasting perfection concealer) however it makes it very easy to blend and it makes it build able. Which is good because it is a medium coverage concealer so if you want a full coverage concealer maybe this won't be for you. However it is so inexpensive at £5.49 it is worth trying.

I also really love the consistency of this product because it's a medium coverage however it isn't thick which means it doesn't cling to any dry patches. I know this because other concealer really seem to love the dry patches on my nose. So whenever I find a concealer that doesn't cling to dry patches it's definitely a win.

I love the packaging and applicator as it comes with a doe foot applicator, so it really controls the amount of product that comes out of the tube then there's no waste.

So that's it for my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Review and I would definitely recommend trying this concealer out. So I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you soon.

♥ My Mac Lipstick Collection ♥

I really wanted to share my lipstick collection with you but then I realised I do have a few too many to do one post. So I thought I'd start with my Mac collection as it is the biggest, having said that all three posts will be out throughout my May series. So look out for the rest of the posts in this series, but for today I hope you enjoy seeing my Mac collection. I will be showing them grouped in the finished so enjoy.

Amplified
First up we have Chatterbox which is my only Amplified finish, this was actually the first ever Mac lipstick I bought and I have loved it ever since. It's a perfect medium pink colour which is especially amazing for the spring and summer.

Cremesheen
My first Cremesheen is Cremecup, which is a blogger favourite but it isn't my favourite as I feel like it washes me out and I much prefer a mauve or brown toned nude.
One of my Limited Edition Mac lipsticks is the Mcizzle from the Mariah Carrey collection, this is a sheer brown toned nude which I live as an everyday colour as it requires no effort.

Matte
My first matte finish is Mehr and I love this colour so much as I love the matte as they stay on your lips for so long and even though they do dry your lips out a little bit. But if you just put a lip balm under it it really does help.
My second matte is Diva and this is a new favourite as I bought it in New York, but I love this is doesn't bleed, it's a beautiful colour and it lasts on the lips for so long.

Retro Matte
Onto the Retro Mattes and the first one is All Fired Up, which I haven't got a lot of use out of yet as I bought it in mind with the summer.
But one Retro Matte I always use is Ruby Woo, which is my chosen red lipstick as it stays on for so long. However it's so hard to get on but it's worth the struggle in my opinion because it is so pretty and once it's on it isn't moving.

Lustre
My other limited edition lipstick is Royal Ball from the Cinderella collection and if I'm really honest I'm really too sure why bought is. I think the disney fan came out and made me buy this as I don't really wear it as I personally just don't think it's a wearable colour.
Another Satin I love is Lovelorn because it's a pretty baby pink that's wearable for everyday which is exactly what I love it for.
Another new purchase but definitely a favourite is Syrup as its the perfect mauve tone that's slightly shimmery, but also I especially love it for the transitional months as I don't think it's dark enough for Winter but it isn't bright enough for summer.
One that's slightly darker than Syrup is Plumful which is definitely a blogger favourite and I totally agree because I love this shade so much.

Satin
Onto my favourite finish which is the satin finish and first is Viva Glam II, which was actually the lipstick I wore for prom so I have some good memories with, but also it is a really lovely brown-toned nude.
And we all know that this is my absoulute favourite mac lipstick is Brave as it's just the most perfect mauve nude that I wear so much as it requires no effort and it's so pretty and pigmented.
One I used to loved but I kind of regret buying it now is Pink Noveau as it's just too blue-toned and it makes my teeth look so yellow. So maybe skip this one if you have that problem too.
I actually picked up Mac Red because I thought it might be a bit easier to apply then Ruby Woo and it is slightly less bold than Ruby Woo. So I do love it when I want something when I'm in a rush but still want a beautiful red.
And my final Mac lipstick is Rebel, which is another blogger favourite and I again can totally agree with the hype because it is such a stunning colour and it's in my favourite finish so it definitely got a lot of use during the winter and I actually wore it on my first night in New York.

That's it for my Mac lipstick collection I know I have a lot but it's just something I enjoy collecting and I especially love that most of these lipsticks come with a memory like Chatterbox which I bought in Times Square and Viva Glam II I wore at prom. So that's it for today and I'll see you soon.

♥ Tsum Tsum Collection ♥

Today I'm going to share my Tsum Tsum collection, it certainly isn't the biggest I've seen but it's my wonderful little collection full of the characters I love. I do want to say some of these are from the Disney Store and some are from the Posh Paw brand that Clintons sell as they are great if you've missed the collection in the Disney Store. So I will point out which are from where.
Firstly I have the Disney pairs including Donald (Disney) and Daisy (PP), Minnie (Disney) and Mickey (Disney), Chip (PP) and Dale (PP). I love having all these at the bottom of my stack because they are so cute together in their little pairs.
My more random ones including Bambi (Disney), Fairy Godmother (PP), Nemo (PP), Dumbo (Disney) and Sadness (PP). I love these characters as they all mean something to me but I didn't want the whole collection.
From the Beauty and the Beast collection I picked up Mrs Potts, Cogsworth, Lumiere and Chip who are all from Posh Paws by Clintons. I did also pick up Belle who you will see in a moment, but that's all I got from the Beauty and the Beast collection as I didn't feel like I needed Maurice or Phillip but I do slightly regret not picking up Gaston and Beast.
My final part and probably my favourite part is my princesses, this was a set from Clintons that I knew I had to get as I missed a lot of the princess collection as origninally I was adamant I would never collect them but we can all see how that ended. However the set includes Snow White, Cinderalla, Jasmine and of course my three favourites: Ariel, Belle and Rapunzel.

That's it for my Tsum Tsum collection, as I said I know it's not the biggest but it's one of my passions that I wanted to share. So I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next week.

♥ eBay Haul ♥

Today I'm to be doing an eBay haul, I did buy all these things in January however because most of them were from China I did have to wait a bit of time for shipping and also I stupidly decided to order when it was Chinese New Year so it did take even longer. However it's all here now and I'm going to show you them today, I ventured onto eBay as I'd been watching a lot of eBay hauls and I wanted to try out some of the things for myself. So let's get into it.
Firstly I bought a few things for my phone including this adorable phone case which I think looks a lot like the Skinny Dip phone cases. Which I do have one of but I find they're not very good quality, so I thought I'd buy a cheaper version and this one is really cute.
Secondly I bought a Pop Socket as I've seen so many people using them and I have to say it does make your phone a lot easier to hold and I've been dropping it a lot less. So hopefully this 99p pop socket will be able to save me a lot of money instead of replacing my screen.
I bought a few beauty things including this really cute eyelash case as I keep leaving my eyelashes that I have around the house and I just needed a cheap solution. So when I found this I thought it would be perfect as I know a company does something like this as I've seen it in some videos. But I just needed a cheap solution.
I also bought some makeup brushes including these Real Techniques dupe brushes which I do want to do a review on soon as I haven't used them yet. I came across these as I noticed them in a lot of people's hauls, so I figured I'd give them a go.
Another makeup brush I bought was this fan brush as I really wanted one for highlighter as I've noticed the brush I was using makes my highlighter too thick, so I've been trying this one out and I don't really like it as I feel it isn't dense enough to pick up the product.
The only actual makeup item I bought were these lip liners as I'd seen them on BellaBambinaxx's channel. She gave them a good review to say they were £1.99 and I must say I am not really enjoying them as they are so hard that you can't really line your lips without really pressing down and then I think you lose control. Therefore I personally wouldn't recommend them.
The final thing in my eBay haul are these sunglasses as I really wanted to try them out but I didn't know whether they were going to suit me. I'm still not to sure whether they do or not but they were only £1.90, therefore if I decide against them I didn't waste a lot of money.

That's it for my eBay haul I hope you enjoyed and maybe it gave you some inspiration to do a bit of shopping yourself. See you soon.

♥ My Mac Palette ♥

Today as promised a while ago I'm back with an in depth look at my Mac palette, I've swatched each colour so you can get a better look at them. My personal intention for my Mac palette was to have colour that could be interpreted many different ways for a nude eye look. So I'll so you the colours I picked.
Firstly we have Nylon, which is a beautiful shimmering white shade that is perfect for both the eyebrow and inner-corner highlight.
Next is Jest, I particularly love this shade all over of the lid and put a light brown colour in the crease. As it's just such a pretty shimmery pink toned shade, it is very similar to All That Glitters so don't feel like you have to have both.
This is Expenisve Pink, which I was a bit scared of at first but I thought I'd buy it as I wanted to go out of my comfort zone. But it's still a wearable shade as it has a very strong gold tint to it.
This is Saddle, it's the shade I was previously talking about as it's my favourite shade to use with Jest as it's really subtle which is what you need with just a light shade like Jest. But also it's a perfect transition shade for my skin tone when you want to do a smoky eye.
I love Amber Lights as it's a stunning gold, it is very oranged tone so it works well with the next shade. But if your a person that like a yellow toned gold instead of this burnt orange. I'd definitely recommend Half-Baked from Urban Decay.
As I said Bronze works so amazing with Amber Lights and its actually the reason I bought these two were to use them together. They look amazing either with Amber Light on the lid and Bronze in the crease, however they also look great when you simply mix them together and apply all over the lid.
Tempting is another good one for the crease and again works great with Amber Lights or something I've started doing recently is deepening up the outer corner with Tempting when using Saddle and it looks so pretty.
A more subtle version of the previous two shades is Mulch. this is actually one I bought a really long time ago but I do still love it. It does have a subtle shimmer to it which I think makes it even more pretty.
And finally we have Embark, this is a really dark plum which does look slightly brown at the same time. I chose this shade to again take me out of my comfort zone a bit instead of buying a plain old brown and its the perfect shade to really darken the outer corner.

That's it more my Mac palette I hope you enjoyed and it gave you some inspiration if you're looking to buy a Mac palette in the future. I'll see you next week.

♥ StephaniePlansCo Review ♥

Today I'm going to be reviewing StephaniePlansCo which is a Etsy store which sells these amazing Mickey Mouse donut paper clips. I personally gravitated towards the princess ones including Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel, however she does an amazing range including original donuts, Disney villians and so many more.

Firstly I'd just like to say this seller is amazing, she honestly couldn't have done enough for me including changing clips after purchase and a custom order of the Rapunzel rose clip (which is now a listed clip due to popularity). I spoke to Stephanie so much before I actually placed my order about everything from international shipping to customs. My order was shipped after a week I ordered it which I personally thought was really good as they are made to order and especially seen as I had a custom order. Her products are so amazing and good quality, they feel so sturdy and I mean her designs are breathtaking. I especially love her rose crown clips as they have stunning glittery ears, the Ariel has the most gorgeous green glitter ears which look remarkable. I love following her Instagram as she releases so many beautiful designs that I always want and they definitely don't disappoint as they are even more beautiful in person. Stephanie's attention to detail is amazing there's details on these clips you would never ever think to put on there such as the small glitter detail on the pleat of the dresses.

Overall I couldn't recommend this shop more from the service to the owner to the stunning products Stephanie delivers. Even if you don't purchase any of these clips, please just go and check out her store (here) or her Instagram (here) as her products are just so stunning and deserve so much recognition. Also she brings out so many amazing clips there's at least one that would suit you.
