♥ New York Hauls: Mac Cosmetics ♥

Today I'm here with my fourth and final New York haul and it's going to be a Mac haul. This is probably the smallest of the bunch but I still definitely wanted to share.
Firstly I actually filled my palette up as I only had two eyeshadows in there so I have Nylon, Jest, Expensive Pink, Saddle, Amber Lights, Bronze, Tempting, Mulch and Embark (from left to right). I did already have Jest and Mulch, I actually spoke to a makeup artist and we tried to make a palette for the perfect neutral eye. So I'm really happy with my choices.
Next I went a bit crazy with Mac lipsticks so I bought Mac Red (Satin), Rebel (Satin) and Diva (Matte). I felt I was really missing darker colours in my collection and I know Rebel and Diva are definitely are favourites in the beauty community as they're such pretty colours.
My other three lipsticks I picked up was Mehr (Matte), Plumful (Lustre) and All Fired Up (Retro Matte). As you can probably tell when it comes to Mac lipsticks I do love the Matte and Satin finishes as I just think they are the most pigmented and are the most long wearing.

That's it for my Mac haul and all my New York hauls. I hope you enjoyed this series and I will see you next week.

♥ New York Hauls: Drugstore Beauty ♥

I'm back today with another one of my New York hauls and today were going to be talking about what I bought from the American drugstores. As you will probably be able to tell I didn't buy as much from the drugstore than I did from other places but never the less let's get into the haul.
Firstly I picked up a couple of foundations including the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation in the shade 810. I've already tried out this one and I'm absoulutely loving it, so maybe I'll do a review on my feeling soon then I can go into a bit more detail. I also picked up the L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation, I haven't actually tried this one yet because I've been so hooked on the Covergirl one but I'll definitely let you know my feeling when I do.
Also from Covergirl I picked up two mascaras, firstly was the Clump Crusher in the shade Very Black and Full Lash Bloom in the shade Black. Both I haven't tried as I'm working my way through quite a few mascaras at the minute, but again I will let you know my opinion when I start using them.

I picked up three lipsticks from Milani as I've heard such amazing things about them, the shades I picked up are Black Cherry, Plumrose and Velvet Merlot (from left to right). These are so amazing they are highly pigmented, long wearing, smell amazing and the packaging is stunning.
And finally I bought way too many Wet n Wild lipsticks because they are so inexpensive so I bought the shades Mauve Outta Here, Rose-bud, Wine Room, Cherry Picking, Cherry Bomb and Vamp It Up (from left to right). I haven't tried all of these but from the ones I have tried these are so pigmented and I really can't understand how they are so inexpensive.

So that's for my New York drugstore haul I hope you enjoyed and make you look out for reviews on these products in the next couple of months. I'll see you next week.

♥ New York Hauls: Sephora ♥

I'm back today with another New York haul and today I'm sharing want I bought from Sephora. So I'm just going to get into it because I may have bought a lot.
Firstly I bought three BiteBeauty lipsticks in the shades Fig, Sour Cherry and Rhubarb (from left to right). These are the Amuse Bouche Lipsticks and I've heard so many good reviews of these I decided to pick them up and so far I love them. They are long-wearing, highly pigmented and smell amazing.
I also bought Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, I was going to get Champagne pop which is Jaclyn Hill's collaboration with them. However I felt it was a bit too gold for my skintone as I am so pale. So I picked up Moonstone which is stunning and perfect for my skintone.
I bought the Too Faced chocolate bar palette which I have wanted for such a long time so I did finally cave and buy it, I'm so glad I did because there is some beautiful shades in there and of course it smells like chocolate.
Another product I've wanted to try is the Tarte Light Camera Lashes mascara and when I saw this set where you could try out  this mascara and Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara, Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, Blinc Amplified Mascara, Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash and got one of the full sizes for free I definitely thought it was worth it.
A foundation I see a lot of people raving about is the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation and I went for the shade R250 (Beige Nude). I haven't actually tried this one yet because as you'll see in my Drugstore haul I bought a couple so I've been trying those out first.
Shaaanoxo loves the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks so I thought I'd try one in the shade Mother which the website describes as a dusty mauve pink. However its much like a bright berry pink, but I love this and I so wish I picked up some more.
One thing I do regret picking up is the Sephora Smoothing Translucent setting powder as I don't really like it. Firstly it smells so bad that I can't bare to put it on my face also it's so hard to get out of the container.
The one skincare item I picked up was the Sephora Mud mask Purifying & Mattifying, I picked this up as the skincare guy in Sephora recommended this to me and always said it was a good dupe for the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment. So I really wanted to try it as the Glamglow mask is $69 and I really wasn't prepared to buy that, therefore I bought this one and I have never tried a mask that's done such amazing things for my skin.
Because I spent a lot of money I got a lot of points so I decided to spend most of them as I unfortunately don't know when I will next be in the US, some I spent my points on the Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal clay mask + scrub and also the Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base.

So that's it for what I bought from Sephora I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next week for another New York haul.

♥ New York Hauls: Bath and Body Works ♥

So most of you probably know I went to New York over the Christmas season and today I'm here to share what I bought. There are going to be hauls for the whole of my January posts so if you don't want to know what I got or you don't like hauls you might be best to zone out and come back in February. But today I'm going to be talking about Bath and Body Works.
Firstly I got a lot of candles because when I went to Bath and Body Works they were having an offer of buy one get one free, so I saw the opportunity to stock up. So I bought Champagne which is described Glittering Champagne, Wild Berries and Tangerine Zest.

Next I got Holiday Sparkle which is described Bright Sparkling Water, Sugared Citrus, Wintertime Jasmine and Creamy Sandalwood.

I also got Winter Rose which is described Soft Rose Petal, Pink Peppercorn, White Cedarwood and Luxe Sandalwood. I especially loved this one because it smells like a perfume I bought before I went to Africa so the smell always reminds me of Lesotho.
I bought Merry Mistletoe which is described Frozen Cranberries, Sparkling Pears, Icy Peppermint and Balsam Branches. I pick this one because it really reminded me of the Next candle I bought last year that I couldn't find this year so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get it again
One I really liked is Flannel which is described Crisp Winter Air, Bergamot, Heirloom Mahogany and Soft Musk. I loved this one because its very much like Mahogany Teakwood, however it's more subtle therefore I chose this Flannel over Mahogany Teakwood.

And finally for candles I bought Maple Cinnamon Pancakes which is described Warm Maple Syrup, Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes and Fresh Ground Cinnamon. I picked this one up because who doesn't want their house smelling like freshly made pancakes.
Then I bought a lot of Pocketbacs in the scents: Santa Cookies, Holly Jolly Berry, Black Cherry Merlot, Frosted Coconut Snowball, Peach Bellini, Winter Candy Apple, 2 x Warm Vanilla Sugar and 2 x Fruit Punch.
The finally I bought this Rose Gold PocketBac Holder I Christmas stock and I knew I'd be using this all year round so I picked this more classic one.

That's it for what I bought in Bath and Body Works I hoped you enjoyed and come back next week for another New York Haul.
