☼ My New Favourite Lush Combination ☼

So today I'm going to be sharing my current favourite Lush combination I'm not joking I am obsessed with this combo. So obsessed that I currently own 6 Blackberry bath bomb and 4 The Comforter bubble bars. I think I may have a problem. I have tried both of these products separately but it never clicked to try them together until my friend's mum bought me the Blackberry black bomb and I bought a comforter for myself. That day was the magical moment that I realised that these were a match made in heaven and I haven't looked back since.

Anyway that's enough ranting about Lush products for one day, so I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next week. But just before I do go can we talk about how pretty this Comforter is, yes I am that sad person you see in the shop digging to the bottom of the pile to find the prettiest one :)

☼ Fruit Water Recipes ☼

With summer hopefully around the corner I thought I'd share with you some fruit waters that I have tried out in the past few days. I love fruit water because it is so important to stay hydrated especially when the sun comes out and adding fruit to your water can just make it a bit more tasty and pleasant.

First up we have the classic lemon and lime water which is so yet simple but probably one of the best the lemon gives it such a sour taste but it's so good for your digestive system and really detoxes your system. But the lime just perfectly counterbalances the lemon for an overall yummy drink.
Next we have the Lime and Strawberry which is another one that I really enjoyed you don't yet a lot of taste from the strawberries if you drink it as soon as you make it. So I'd definitely recommend if you're going to make this one that you make it the night before you want to drink it. Also the nutrients from the strawberries can really help reduce bloating and the limes reduce risk of heartburn.
The lemon and blueberry really wasn't my favourite as I really couldn't anything from the blueberries I tried it directly after making the water and then also I made this water and let it sit overnight. But I could only taste the lemon which I find too bitter to drink by itself.
And my personal favourite is definitely the Lime, Lemon and Strawberry water. I love this one because it has the perfect taste from the lemon and lime water from the perfect sour and sweet balance. But them when you get the strawberry taste over the top. It is a match made in heaven. Again one you need to make the night before but it's definitely worth it.

So that's the four recipes I tried I do enjoy making these little mixes and I hope you try some of them out. I did mention some of the benefits in this post but if you want to look it depth a bit more definitely just google it there's loads of information. So I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you next week.

☼ Current Makeup Storage ☼

So recently I have reorganised my makeup storage and I thought I would share because I'm actually quite proud of it. All the product links will below. I hope you enjoy and maybe it could inspire you to reorganise your own collection.
The main item in my organisation is the muji 5 drawer which I actually bought a few years ago now. It is a little bit expensive at £24.95 but it's definitely worth the investment. As I said I've had mine for a few years now and it still looks brand new.

On top the the organiser I have my everyday foundation which is the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation (review coming soon), I also have my brushes in an Ikea Skurar candle holder and finally I have my Lipstick holder which I actually just ordered of eBay for a few pounds. It's probably the cheapest part of my organisation but definitely a favourite. You actually can't see but behind my lipstick holder I have three palette which are just a bit too big to fit in my storage so I keep them out. That's my Naked palettes and my Mac palette.

So as you can see it's nothing special and it isn't ridiculously expensive because I feel like the more I spend on organisation the less money I can spend on my actual makeup collection and I would make rather prefer a naked palette to some posh storage. So I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my beauty storage and I'll see you next week.

☼ Collective Haul ☼

So it feels like a really long time since I did a good old collective haul so I thought I'd share one today.
First of all we recently got a NYX stand in Meadowhall so I thought I would take advantage and I bought the Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Milan and a Butter Gloss in the shade Cupcake.
On the same trip I nipped into Primark to buy some holiday clothes and I actually found these amazing Rose Gold eyelash curlers and tweezers which I definitely couldn't pass up.
So we all know my Disney obsession so I went into the Disney store to add to my Tsum Tsum collection. So bought this cute little Dumbo one I swear I am 16.
I also picked up a new mascara which is the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast mascara. I actually am going to be reviewing this mascara soon so keep your eyes peeled.
I needed a new shampoo and conditioner but I didn't really want my usual OGX Argan Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner as they can get pretty pricey. So I decided to purchase something a little cheaper so I decided to go with Tresemme 24 Hour Body Shampoo and Conditioner. So far I'm actually really likely them.
Something that my mum actually bought me is the Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter. This was so kind of her as she knew I wanted to buy the Jaclyn Hill face palette but it is just so expensive so as a kind gesture my mum bought me this which I'm so grateful for. I will do a review soon when I have tried it out a bit.
I bought a new foundation which is the Naked Skin Foundation as I've seen so many good reviews. I'm in the shade 0.5 (yes I realise how pale I am). But again I will definitely do a review when I get a feel for it.

☼ Barry M Gelly Nail Paint VS Models Own Hyper Gel Effect Polish ☼

So today I'm going to compare the Barry M Gelly Nail Paints and the Models Own Hyper Gel Effect Polishes. As I do have similar shades so I wore them along side each other for a week without looking crazy and I am going share the results with you.

Barry M

Dried much quicker.

Needed two extra coats than the Models Own.

They cost £3.99.

The Barry M collection has a lot better colour selection with 38 different shades.

Models Own

The Models Own Polish was definitely easier to apply as the polish was a lot more pigmented and only needed two coats.

The polish was a lot better at being chip resistant and lasted a lot longer before it started chipping.

They cost £4.99

The Hypergel collection does have 25 different colours in the collection

So that's what I found when wearing the two polishes side by side overall I have to go towards the Models Own Hyper Gel Effect Polishes because they are a lot easier to apply and are a lot more chip resistant. So that's it for my comparison and I will see you next week.
