♥ How I Wash my Makeup brushes ♥

Lots of people have shared how they clean their makeup brushes an today I'm going to share what  I do.
These are the products I use to wash my brushes they are super inexpensive as they are things that you have to buy anyway. Its just some hand soap and some conditioner. Then this amazing little brush cleaner that I bought from eBay.
I firstly run my brush under some warm water.
Then I put about half a pump of the hand soap on the brush cleaner.
Then I swirl the brush into the soap to clean out all the excess product in the brush.
Then I hold the brush under the water but keep swirling the brush on the brush cleaner.
After all the product is out of the brush, I put some of the conditioner onto the brush cleaner and again swirl the brush into the product.
Then I wash out the conditioner under the water.
To dry your brushes you need to dry them on an angle then the water doesn't run into the ferrule and make all the bristles fall out so I just use a rolled up flannel to make sure all the water runs out of the brush.

This is just my way of cleaning my brushes I find the brush cleaner from eBay really useful as they are 99p and I was going to purchase the Sigma Spa Glove but then I realized that I wouldn't use it enough to justify how much I would be spending on it.

Anyway I hoped this helped.

♥ Mental Health ♥

So recently I have been seeing a lot more information cropping up about Mental Health. My friend Claire and I were talking about the topic a few days ago. We were saying how people use the words "depressed" and anxious so loosely and for such stupid things. As a person that suffers with anxiety I wouldn't wish any mental illness on my worst enemy and some people don't understand how much a mental illness can mess up your life. Anxiety isn't being nervous about speaking in front of thousands of people it's the fact all the time feeling anxious about everything and struggling to do the simplest of things. I can't explain and people with anxiety will know having that doubt in the back of your head every minute of the day that something is going to go wrong. Which is why I get so upset when I hear phrases like "I'm depressed because I forgot my earphones and I have to walked home without any music". Okay I understand if your upset but to say your depressed is a completely different thing. People are dying because of depression and your almost making fun of the topic on social media. Depression is a serious mental illness that can seriously mess up your life and the lives of the people around you. You can not get Depression from forgetting your earphones.
Or if someone says "I'm anxious because I didn't buy the top I wanted". you can't get a mental illness from not buying a top. I know people that are too anxious to go and buy the top and have often not bought something because they were too nervous to go to the till alone. Or approach a section of a store because there is a sales assistant which stops them buying the things they want an need. The thing that people don't understand is how little everyday things can really get to you when you have Anxiety. Like I have friends without Anxiety that really don't understand why I overthink everything and why I can't dot he stupid little things on a everyday basis and why I have that doubt about everything in the back of my head. If you don't have a mental illness don't judge the people that do.

The social stigma that surrounds mental illness is huge but I don't understand why because actually 1 in 4 people will suffer a with a Mental Illness throughout their life. Which if you don't suffer with a Mental Illness someone close to you will and if you don't know anyone with a Mental Illness it probably means that they haven't told you about it as it's proven that most people that are dealing with a Mental Illness are more scared of overcoming the stigma than actually overcoming the Mental Illness itself. Which is crazy because the stigma is created by us as human beings. We all acknowledge that Mental Health is here however the thing we aren't doing is talking about it. An amazing man called Kevin Breel put it like this "When we break our arm everyone runs forward to sign the cast but when we say we have Depression everyone runs the over way". And as Jack Harris said in this amazing video "Mental Health disabilities are an illness not a weakness they are an issue not an identity its okay to be suffering from a mental illness but its not okay not to talk about it because then we achieve nothing".

We shouldn't be scared of Mental Illnesses we should be talking about them. Not using them as an excuse and not using them in stupid situations. I challenge to talk to someone or to talk to your family and friends about Mental Illnesses we need to spread the word. Mental Health is a thing so why don't we address it ?

♥ Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Review ♥

A while ago I purchased the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in the shade Cement from the Outlet is cost me £14 which is pretty good to say that normal Bobbi Brown eyeshadows cost £20. Its exactly the same its just its in the old packaging, I saw this eyeshadow for the first time on Velvetgh0st's channel and thought it was so pretty and I had to buy it immediately so I went on the website and found out it cost £20 and I thought it was a little steep just for one eyeshadow. So I decided to forget about it for a while. Then my family and I went to Chesire Oaks for the day and naturally I had to go into the CCO and I was looking through the MAC and Bobbi Brown sections. Of course this eyeshadow was sat there and it was the last one. So I think it was meant to be.
Onto the eyeshadow I use the Revlon Photo ready primer under it and it does last all day even on my oily eyelids. It looks completely different on the eye to what it looks like in the pan, its just makes the most beautiful yet effortless eye. Even with the hefty £20 price tag I would definitely recommend this as you don't need anything else on the eye. This could literally be an everyday shadow that you could use with no effort needed.

Thanks for reading

♥ My Favourite Inexpensive Candle ♥

When I go to Ikea I like to buy these candles there are two different sizes this is the bigger size. The smaller size comes with three in the pack and the bigger ones come with two in a pack. The scent is a fresh rose scent. For the price these have a really good scent throw, they do do slightly better on a wax melter. These cost £3 for the smaller ones, unfortunately I can't find the bigger ones online so I'm not to sure whether they still sell them or not. These are definitely one of my favourite inexpensive candles and if you go to Ikea you need to pick a pack of these up.

♥ Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain Review ♥

As you can probably tell I'm a little bit obsessed with the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain the shades I have from Left to Right are La Exclusive, Rio Rush, Barcelona Nights and Parisian Passion. I think these shade names are so cute, I had the pleasure of trying on the YSL Tint in oil lip glosses and they are £23.50 and these £7.99 so I'd probably go with the Revlon ones. I love the formula as they are really moisturising when you first apply them, after a while the gloss fades of to a leave a lovely subtle stain on the lips. I do prefer the darker shades to the lighter shades. As the darker shades stain the lips better which make them last a lot longer. I do want to try some of the nude shades as I do have mostly pink shades and I would like to see how long lasting the nude shades are. So I'd definitely recommend them if you fancy a new lip product and your in boots one day.

♥ Top 5 Nail Polishes for Summer ♥

As my Top 5 Nail Polishes for Spring went down so well I thought I would do the same thing for Summer so there we go.
Firstly is the Models Own Polish from the Polish for Tans in the shade Shades this is perfect for summer as it is neon and a lovely bright coral.

Next is the Barry M Gelly polish in the shade Green Berry I was in love with this shade last year if you prefer the Models Own consistency their HyperGel collection they have a shade called Turquoise Gloss and it is the exact same.
Speaking of the HyperGel Collection this is my favourite colour out of all of them. It is in the shade Cornflower Gleam and its the perfect Cornflower Blue that I love all year round but especially in the summer.
I love a bit of silver in the summer time and this one is the Ciate one in the shade Fit for a queen. I love this one as it's a lovely metallic shade fit for any occasion, the Ciate formula is a great one not the best for chips but dry very quick and never streaky.
One of my favourite collections from Models Own has to be the Ice Neon Collection as they are semi-matte and are so quick to dry. And they are are neon they are perfect for a summer nail option. This particular shade is Bubblegum.

So there are my personal top 5 picks for summer nail polishes.

♥ Collective Haul ♥

So once agin I've been buying way too much and its time to show you what I've been buying.
I was reading about reducing stress and every single website said that colouring helped a lot so I started researching some adult colouring books and this look like a really good one I got mine from WHSmiths.
I bought some more washi tape from paperchase during there sale they were wrapped up beautifully but I was to excited and ripped them open to start playing with them in my planner.
I ran out of my Shampoo and Conditioner however when I went to repurchase my Vo5 Smoothly does it I couldn't find it in Boots or Superdrug so I thought I'd try this one which is made for mid-length hair prone to split ends which described my hair perfectly.
I needed a few cards so I went to the Card Factory and found these lovely cards that were 7 for £1 which I thought was an absolute bargain for such beautifully designed cards.

So that's it let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you thought of them.

♥ Top 5 Lip Products for Summer ♥

As the same as I did with the Top 5 Nail Polishes for Summer I thought I would show you my picks for my Summer lip products,
I love a good fuchsia lip for summer and this is my current favourite one its the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the shade Lovesick. The only thing I don't like about these are the smell as they smell like a mixture of plants and mint. Weird I know.
I love the Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo Lipsticks as they smell like vanilla even more so than MAC lipsticks. They are not extremely pigmented which is what I like in the summer time. This is in the shade 805 - Strawberry Pink.
I am in love with the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains as they are the perfect constancy and last really well for a gloss. This is a lovely coral shade in the shade Rio Rush.
You know how much I love the Natural Collection Lipsticks as they are only £1.99 this is in the shade Pink Orchid which is a shimmering pink colour.
Another one of the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains in the shade Barcelona Nights which is a lot more red in tone than Rio Rush. But both a lovely subtle summer shades.

So that's it for my personal top 5 lip products for summer. Hope it gives you some inspiration to go out and buy some new lip products for the summer season.

♥ Karolina's Krafts Review ♥

I hauled these stickers a few weeks ago and since as I have been trying them out for the last few weeks. I thought it would be time for me to do a review on them.

I use these stickers in my planner from Paperchase I hauled it here, These stickers are from Karolina's Krafts which is a lovely little store on Etsy run by the amazing Karolina. She has a lovely range of stickers which are reasonably priced for Etsy stickers. Everything is made to order so they did take around two weeks to get to me but I personally I think that is really good as I do live in the UK and shipping from America always does take a week or two. One thing I would say about the shipping it is quite expensive but she does send it first class and tracked. It came in a padded envelope and all the stickers came on cardboard for stability so they didn't come bent. So far as the sticker go you have two options matte or glossy, I chose matte for my order as they are removable and can be wrote on. If you want to know what I plan on using each sticker for check out my haul. But over all I think these stickers are totally worth the money and if you are into planning definitely check her out.

These stickers were very kindly gifted to me by the company but this post is not sponsored and all my opinions are my own

Firstly is a lot of Shampoo and Conditioner this is my all time favourite type its the Vo5 Smoothly Does it range and it smells incredible as well as helping my hair grow. I am currently trying a new one as I couldn't find this one in boot last time I was out so I will let you know how that one goes.

As far as skincare goes I used up one of my favourite moisturiser which is the Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing rich moisturiser which I mentioned in my Skincare routine which you can read here.
I used up The Body Shop Cranberry Joy shower gel which was from Christmas which smelt really nice. I also used up one of the Gingerbread ones but I used it Jamaica and didn't bring it back. I'm currently using the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Crush which is my favourite for the summer months.
And finally I've used up this beautiful candle that I got for Christmas thats from Primark. It burnt really well, was in a lovely vanilla scent and gave a good throw to say how cheap it was.

So that's my Spring empties I hope you enjoyed and let me know whether you want me to carry this series on.
