❄ What I got for Christmas 2014 ❄

So I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and so you all what I got for Christmas as my subscription box is currently jam packed with What I got for Christmas 2014 videos. Can I first say I am not trying to brag about the presents I am extremely grateful for all the presents I received, anyway lets get into what my family get me for Christmas this year.

The first thing I opened on Christmas was my stocking which my mum packs for my brother and I ever year. So I got some chocolate which included a chocolate santa (stocking staple in our house), chocolate coins, chocolate snowies (favs) and a tube of Smarties. Some skincare bits I received was one of my favourite face masks, a few simple products (Eye makeup remover and Cleansing Lotion). Then finally in my stocking was a Avon Nail Wheel.
My Grandma (my mum's mum) gave me the Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara, My favourite Lindor chocolate which I only get at Christmas, a White chocolate reindeer and The Daisy Dream Perfume OMG Happy dance alert.
From my Auntie Dawn, Uncle Gary and my cousins. They gave me the Benefit Sweet Tintations set which contains a Benebalm, mini Benetint, Lollibalm and mini Lollitint. They got me a weekly organiser as they know I like being organised and the zoella fizz bar which smells great.
My brother gave me the Lush Mrs Frosty gift set which includes Butterball, So White and a mini Comforter bubble bar. Speaking of Lush my annual Boxing Day haul will be on the way as soon as my box comes.
From my parents I'm going to split the presents into a few categories so the first is Bath and Body and candles. So I may have asked for Zoella's range and my mum was extremely clever and already few I had the makeup bag and the fizz bar (mums are so clever). Which left me with the Soak Opera, Blissful Mistful, Creamy Madly Dreamy and Let's Glow. They got me Marc Jacob's Honey Lotion which I asked the perfume last year last minute so my mum didn't have time to buy it. She remember and got me the lotion as she knew that my Grandma was getting me the Daisy Dream Perfume. The cute owl candle (which is vanilla). A Jack Wills Ladies perfume rollerball set which I was going to buy in Jack Wills the other day and some how my mum turned me of it. And a Victoria's Secret set.
If you know me you will know I love baking so my parents bought me The Great British Bake Off Cook Book, a Baking calendar and cookie press that I have been wanting for ages.
My parents know that I love all things beauty so they got me a Tangle Teezer as my other one just kick the bucket, two ciate Nail Set and you will know that I just got a whole bunch of Ciate nail polishes from the 2013 advent calendar that I bought from TK.Max this year. I got two packs of cotton pads as they are always useful, a massive brush set which are mostly eye brushes as my mum knows I don't often wear base makeup. And the star of the show a Ted Baker Wash Bag.
Finally from my parents they got me a ticket to see The Vamps next year which wouldn't be complete without a t-shirt to wear on the day.

Hope you enjoyed seeing What I got for Christmas, I also got some money from my other members of my family which I have spent some of it so a haul will be coming up soon. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas with your friends and family.

❄ Ciate Mini Mani Month Day 13 - 24 ❄

So if you didn't notice I did miss Blogmas Day 21 which is when I was supposed to do my third Ciate Mini Mani Month update however I had come down with the flu (Fun !!). So I had pre-wrote the rest of the Blogmas. But I was opening this advent calendar through December, which meant I couldn't pre-write this blogpost before I was ill. Anyway hope you enjoy the last 12 days of the Ciate Mini Mani Month 2013

Day 13 - Loop the Loop - A lemon shade
Day 14 - Party shoes - Duo chrome glitter top coat
Day 15 - Glitter all the way - Gold glitter
Day 16 - Chinchilla - A Baby blue colour
Day 17 - Members only - Nude with gold shimmer
Day 18 - Knickerbockerglory - A Hot pink

Day 19 - Ice Queen - Silver Caviar Pearls
Day 20 - Apple & Custard - Light green shade
Day 21 - Iced Frappe - Slightly purple toned beige
Day 22 - Three Glitter Nail Files (Pictured below)
Day 23 - Mistletoe Magic - Green, Gold and Red Sequins
Day 24 - Talent Scout - Rich Purple

I tried out the glitter top coat called Party shoes that was from Day 14 (Excuse the chipped effect, I painted them three days ago and they are already destroyed Which colour shall I paint them next ??) I really liked the formula of the glitter as they don't feel really glittery on the nails. The nail polish under the glitter is Barry M Gelly Blue Grape.

I used my new camera that I got for Christmas it is the Canon Powershot SX510 and it is currently half price on Argos' website so if you live in the UK I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are need of a new camera. It is a bridge camera so it is better than a digital but not as good as a DLSR camera

❄ My Favourite Christmas Decoration 2014 ❄

I bought this ornament earlier in December after seeing something similar on Gabby's Instagram and Miss Budget Beauty's Video. I first found it on Not on the High street, however it was sold out and then never came back in stock. So when |I found this one in Lakeland in Harrogate I was over the moon. There was a choice between Cream and Red, obviously I choose the Cream as you can see. I came with a fake candle that I'm using but. I will probably swap to a real candle when the battery runs out. It was on offer when I got it but I'm not to sure whether its still on sale as I am pre writing this post. Get your one here

❄ Korres Lip Butter Review ❄

I picked this up while I was in Greece over the summer as I had heard nothing but good things about the Korres products in general. Gabby mentioned it in her lipstick product addict tag and ever since its been on my wish list (shoutout the Claire with our strange wish lists). So when I saw it in Greece I grabbed it. I am i a little disappointed by the smell I thought it would smell a lot nicer. But its a really nice product if your running out the house and don't have time to sit down for about 5 minutes and get a perfect red lip. Of course it won't be as pigmented as your normal red lipstick. But its a really nice glossy deep red, so its just like a deep red lip gloss but its very moisturizing as well which is added bonus for me. Especially in the Winter as my lips get so dry and if your not to confident with lip colours like me you can start of with something like this and work your way up.

❄ Avon Supershock Mascara ❄

This is one of my favourite mascara for lengthening and defining, however I like to pair it up with Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless (reviewed here) I do like this mascara if my lashes get a bit do clumpy with another mascara. I love this mascara for defining the lashes, so I definitely love this mascara however I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it and I mostly buy this mascara when it goes in sale book when it's around £4 or £5 as I wouldn't use this mascara everyday as I like a lot more volume than this mascara gives me. Which is why I like to pair it up with a whatever mascara I'm using at the moment, so overall I do like this mascara but I think there are mascaras out there that can do a lot more.

❄ Nivea Lip Butter Review ❄

Today we are talking about the amazing invention of the nivea lip butter, I know there is a bit of a split opinion on these. But I personally love them, my only personal problem is they do send you lips pretty white. However I have learned to forgive them because I just use them at night before I go to sleep as it is perfect for an overnight moisturizer for your lips. I do have a lot of these as they were on 3 for 2 the second time I went to go buy one and who is going to ignore a 3 for 2. So I now have two raspberry rose kiss ones, one is currently in my school bag, I have the caramel cream one which as you can see I am very close to finishing that one and I have the Vanilla and Macadamia one which I haven't started it yet. I would say that the Vanilla and Macadamia one is my least favourite and the Raspberry Rose is my favourite. But I have heard they have brought a blueberry one out which I really want, however I really don't need it because my lip balm drawer is seriously overflowing which is when you know you have to much lip balm.

❄ Makeup for you Brushes Review ❄

I bought a set of brushes of off light in the box which came with these eye brushes and a few face brushes. It came with a powder brush, a angled top brush and blush brush. I gave the angled top brush to my mum and threw the others one away because I didn't want to put them on my face they were disgusting. However the eye brushes are actually really good, they are a lot better after you have washed them a few times I just use some shampoo and a tiny bit of conditioner to make them nice and soft. The first one and third one are really good at blending darker colours into the crease and the bottom one I like for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner. I would suggest if you are in the market for some new brushes go and check out some cheap websites especially for eye brushes. Maybe not so much for face brushes, I really eyeing up a set of eye brushes on eBay for around £4. So you may be seeing those in an upcoming coming haul or review.

❄ Natural Collection Body Sprays ❄

I picked these up the pother day when they were on three for two as my friend Claire was telling me they were quite good. So I got all three for £4 which I thought was a complete bargain, I picked up Vanilla, Apple & Lime and Passionfruit. They do smell a little more chemical than the more expensive sprays like Victorias Secret but there over £10 whereas these are £2. Some of the scents are a bit hit and miss, as some smells better than others but its personal preference. I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you are ever in need of a new body spray or just are in your local boots and fancy a new one or even wrap a few up and a present or a stocking filler.

❄ MUA Lash Boom Review ❄

So today I'm going to be reviewing the MUA Lash Boom Mascara, this mascara retails at £4. I'm not a fan of this mascara as it is a really dry formula, whereas I prefer a wet formula like Rimmel Last Accelerator Endless which I reviewed here. However I am going top try and put some liquid into the mascara as I really love the brush. The thicker part is really good at grabbing all the inner and outer lashes that are really small and hard to grab with some mascara wands. While the thinner part is really good for separating the central lashes and giving them length. I really want to like the formula of this because the brush is so good, so I will keep trying with it and probably will add some water to it.

❄ Sephora Glossy Lip Pencils Review ❄

I picked a set up from Sephora when my family and I went to New York in April. My mum and I both picked up this set with three of the Sephora brand Glossy Lip Pencils. They are in the shades Glossy Pale Pink, Glossy Orange and Glossy Pink. I do quite like these because they are just like the Revlon balm stains but with a much nicer smell. They smell really nice and fruity, I like the Glossy Pale Pink and the Glossy Orange more than the Glossy Pink as they are a little bit more pigmented and a bit more long wearing. I just feel like the Glossy Pink one doesn't last long on the lips and you can barely tell that's on the lips, so I wasn't to impressed with that one. But the Glossy Pale Pink and the Glossy Orange ones are really nice.

❄ MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer Review ❄

Disclaimer mine looks disgusting, I'm sorry. Today I'm going to be reviewing the MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer this only costs £2.50. I'm going to put it out there my mum gave me a sample of the Nars eye primer, I think this one is pretty comparable. The first time I used this it was for a Christmas party this time last year I put my eyeshadow on at around 2pm and I cam back after rubbing eyes at 12 and the eyeshadow was still there when I had slight panda eyes as my mascara had rubbed of. But no that eyeshadow was still not budging and they were no creasing which always happens on my eyes because I have quite oily eyelids. As I mentioned earlier I bought this a year ago and it is still going strong, still absolutely perfect. However mine is a little messed up as you can see the writing is starting to rubbed of and the product is everywhere but it was £2.50 and a year it's still going strong. If you don't pick anything up that you've read about on my blog please get this.

❄ Natural Collection Lipstick Review ❄

Today we are talking about the Natural collection lipstick which only cost £1.99 which is amazing. This one is in the shade Pink Orchid, I was little nervous about trying these lipstick because sometimes the really cheap brands can be really bad quality. However I am really impressed so far with pigmentation and lasting power. But I do have a problem with packaging, I don't mind it looking a bit cheap you know it's only £1.99 but the packaging is really not sturdy at all. Just after buying this Miss Budget Beauty posted a video about these. And she expressed the same concerns about the packaging, also she was saying she had to repurchase a few of the lipsticks because they has snapped. So I am being a bit extra careful especially because I don't really like the shape of the lipsticks. But apart from that they are really great lipsticks, I do wish they had a nice scent to them. However at least they don't smell nasty as some cheaper lipstick can do.

❄ Babylips Dr Rescue Review ❄

I have heard that these are now coming out in the Uk, however I haven't seen them yet but I thought I would review the one I got from New York. This is the one in the Pink Me Up which is a nice light pinky colour, it doesn't has much pigmentation on the lips unlike the electro Babylips which are really nice and pigmented. These feel quite tingling on the lips when you first put it on, but nothing to annoying. Because they are a medicated lip balm they are really affective at softening my lips. The only problem I have with these and it is a really personal problem as my friend thinks the complete opposite. I really don't like the smell it smells like cough medication, which I never mind the smells of products but when I put them on my lips all I can smells is the cough syrup. But I'll forgive them as they do make my lips really soft.

❄ Kiko Infinity Eyeshadows Review ❄

So while I was in Kiko I picked up two of their eyeshadows because I actually had a makeover while I was in there looking around. Because if you didn't know in the London store you can go downstairs where it is a little less busy and you can actually have your makeup done for free. So my mum and I could advantage of that and both had a makeover. And the lady use these two colours on me while I was down there and can I just say these last so long after going into Kiko my mum and I went to see Wicked. By the end of the show they were still fully on my eyes and I'm looking at the list of the products and she didn't use any eyeshadow primer. I used these since I got back and they are so creamy and pigmented they are extremely comparable to my Urban Decay shadows and they are only £5. Amazing!

❄ Top Five Nail Polishes for Winter ❄

I thought I would show you my top five nail polishes for Winter for this Top 5 tuesday.

1. This is a China Glaze nail polish in the shade Ruby Pumps I love the formula of the China Glaze polishes, however I never knew where to get them from because my mum gave me this last Christmas out of her collection. So I found a few websites and I will definitely be ordering of that website soon. This colour is beautiful its like a deep red colour with a lovely red shimmer running through it. Don't know whether its still available or it was a part of a Christmas collection. But if you find it grab because its gorgeous.

2. The next one is from Kiko, its in the shade 524 and its a beautiful gunmetal grey with multi coloured glitter. I love the Kiko nail polishes I have four now and the formula is amazing, really highly pigmented I only need two coats. Which says a lot about the pigmentation of these because I normally have to do at least 3 coats. So pick some of these up if you go into the shops, I actually got these on sale for £2.50.

3. This one is a bit of a cheat because it is two nail polishes but they are the same brand and same formulation but I couldn't pick which one to include so I included both. They are the Chit Chat glitter top coats, I actually bought these form poundland. Which sounds a bit weird but they are amazing, these are silver and gold ones which is a bit self explanatory but they don't have any other names. The only problem I have with these is they are a pain in the but to get off.

4. This is a Leighton Denny polish which I don't have a lot of but my friend, Nicole, got me a set for my birthday and they are really nice. It came with five polishes and a top coat and it was in a really nice makeup bag. So onto the polishes it is a beautiful browny colour but it has a amazing duo chrome glitter. Can you tell I like glitter in the Winter time?

5. And the final polish is a models own polish that I don't know the name for because I bought it from TK Max when I was in there buying my Ciate nail polish advent calendar (update on Sunday) so I was in a nail polish mood an I bought this. But the models own polishes are amazing in general, this is a metallic deep purple shade that I love to pair up with the Chit Chat silver glitter top and they look gorgeous together.

So that's it for this week's Top Five Tuesday, so I'll see you in my next one.

❄ Avon Eyeshadow Palette Review ❄

This is the Avon True Colour Quad in Purple Haze, it has beautiful highlight pinky colour, a lilac shade, a really deep purple and a amazing grey colour. These are all slightly sheeny, they are definitely not matte but not shimmery they are just a bit sheeny. They all have tiny particles of glitter in them but nothing noticeable. I love this palette none of the colours have names so I'm going to refer to them as where they are in the palette. I love taking the top left shade as a inner corner, the top right colour all over the lid and bottom left colour in the crease. If I want to make to especially smokey I put a tiny bit of the bottom right colour in the outer v. Also as you can probably tell by the swatches they are extremely pigmented and they are really smooth and easy to blend.

❄ Rimmel Last Accelerator Endless Review ❄

So I bought this mascara a few weeks ago when I was shopping with my friends and there was a three for two going on at boots so we split and I ended up paying around £5 for this mascara. I love this mascara I bought it on recommendation from Gabriella Lindley (Velvetgh0st) as she used to rave about this. And I totally agree with her I do like it better on my top lashes as I do find it will slightly smudge by the end of the day on the bottom lashes. But it is amazing a separation and lengthening, I would say that I would like it to be a little more volumizing but a part from that I love this mascara. And I love the design of the packaging because the top clicks onto the bottom so it makes the mascar last so much longer.

❄ The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel ❄

I feel like all I have been talking about lately is shower gel and body products, but here we go again this is the Body Shop pink grapefruit shower gel. I know that this is probably not the first scent you would pick up in the winter but I thought I would review it as it is one of my favourite scents form anywhere. Also the shop assistant told me that they were discontinuing this size of the shower gels so I grab a few while I was in there. Anyone on the the product, The Body Shop has one of my favourite formulas one it comes to Shower Gel as they are really easy to lather up in the shower as I find some shower gel it takes me ages to lather them up to actually wash my body. But The Body Shop are one of my favourites. As far as the scent goes its a lovely clean and fresh scent which makes it acceptable for a all year round scent. But I especially love it in the Spring time. PS I am prewriting these blog post so thats why it looks like it the 2nd.

❄ Lush Gold Fun Review ❄

So there going back to a Lush review this is the Gold fun, this is a little version from the Christmas set last year. No idea why I still have this as I didn't think I had any left but I discovered this in my Lush draw when I was clearing it out to put it all the cake stand that you can kind of see in the back ground of this photo. As for the actual product it smells beautiful like caramel. It actually shares the scent of Honey I washed the Kids Soap and I love Lush's fun all year round you can use it in the bath as bubble bath, shower gel or shampoo and of course you can use it a playdough. Definitely a Christmas staple for me in the past two years when it has been on sale in Lush and if you don't like the Honey I washed the Kids Soap there are lots of different scents to chose from. Also this year they released a snowman fun or just the beautiful normal scents.

❄ Kiko Glow Touch for lips and cheeks review ❄

So for Blogmas Day 2, I am going to review the Kiko Glow Touch for lips and cheeks, unfortunately I'm not to sure wether these are still available to buy as last time I went into the London store they were still there. But checked on the website just now and I can't find them. But if you go into one of the stores and find one, deffo pick one up because they are amazing. I have one in the shade Heavy Honeysuckle, which is a beautiful quite vibrant pink. The formula of these are great they leave a nice stain on the lips after fading away, I haven't tried them on my cheeks as I don't wear base makeup at the minute. My only complaint would be the packaging I can never get the lid of and as you can probably tell with the dint in the product when I was opening it once. After from that I love these.

Ever since I got this product I thought it looked similar to Mac's Chatterbox which is one of my favourite lipsticks in the entire universe. As you can see swatched they do look pretty similar but the Mac one is a lot more pigmented at first glance but the Kiko one is very buildable and you can probably get them to the same pigmentation on the lips with a few layers
